Fire Chief Administration
The Fire Chief is the most senior administrator and holds the responsibility for providing executive leadership and management for City Of Deerfield Beach of Fire and Rescue. Developing a departmental vision, articulating that vision to management and staff and following it through to implementation are critical elements for this position. Supportive functions are provided by the Fire Chief’s Administrative Assistant.

Fire Chief Chad Brocato, who has nearly 14 years of service within our organization. He has earned a Master’s degree in Medical Science and a Doctorate in Health Science. Fire Chief Brocato is responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of day-to-day operations while also overseeing all departmental training and delivery of emergency medical services. |

Fire Rescue Office Coordinator Cheryl J. Storm provides direct support to the Fire Chief to achieve departmental goals. Her responsibilities include payroll, recording and providing transcripts for meeting minutes, maintaining personnel and confidential files. Cheryl has been with the department since 2001 and currently has an associates degree in Liberal Arts with a Certificate in Human Services. |
